On 9th Apr 2020, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that his government has decided to extend the lockdown period in Odisha till April 30.
The Odisha government has also issued an order to suspend all railways and airlines services during the period. The Odisha government has also decided to close all schools and other educational institutions till June 17.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare have confirmed a total of 39 cases, 2 recoveries and 1 deaths in the state.
