Renowned Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao recently took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, sharing a touching story from his early days that highlights his humble beginnings and the challenges he faced before achieving stardom. In a candid conversation, Rao opened up about his first-ever earnings and how it played a crucial role during a financially difficult period for his family.
"I was in high school when I used to go teach dance to a 7-year-old girl at her house," Rao reminisced. He recalled how he earned a modest sum of Rs 300 for training the young student. For the young Rao, this was a significant amount, as it marked his first salary. "The first time when I received my first salary, I think it was six notes of Rs 50. I was so happy because the financial situation at my house was not good in those days," he added.
The actor, who is now known for his exceptional performances in films like *Stree*, *Newton*, and *Shahid*, shared how he spent that precious first salary. "I used my first salary to buy groceries," Rao revealed. He described how, after purchasing the necessary household items, he was left with a little extra money. With this remaining amount, he decided to buy desi ghee, a luxury for his family at the time. "It was a big deal for us to have ghee on our rotis," he said, reflecting on the simple yet significant joy that the purchase brought to his household.
Rao's story serves as an inspiring reminder of his journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of Bollywood's most acclaimed actors. His rise to fame is a testament to his hard work, perseverance, and the value he places on the experiences that shaped him.
