Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has stated that India is targeting 100 Mbps data speeds per customer with the advent of 6G technology. Currently, the average speed stands at 20 Mbps. The minister highlighted the country’s ongoing efforts to enhance telecom infrastructure, ensuring faster and more reliable internet connectivity for users. As India progresses toward next-generation networks, 6G is expected to play a crucial role in transforming digital services and bridging the connectivity gap.
