Baba Ramdev blocked Bryan Johnson from his X (formerly, Twitter) account after the tech millionaire called out his anti-aging claims. Johnson pointed out that the air quality in Haridwar, where Ramdev lives, is so poor that breathing increases the risk of heart and lung disease. Johnson previously walked out of Nikhil Kamath’s podcast citing air pollution. Poor air quality can cause several health problems, including respiratory issues, cardiovascular problems, and cognitive impairment. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is based on the levels of five major air pollutants: ground-level ozone, particle pollution, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide. The AQI uses a normalized scale from 0 to 500, with higher values indicating greater pollution and health concerns, and is calculated by the EPA and reported daily.
