A few years later, Karan Johar had asked Rani when she appeared on ‘Koffee With Karan’ with Kareena Kapoor. This sly comment from Karan mentioning ‘Chalte Chalte’, left Rani and Kareena bursting out into a laughter. This video went viral on the internet and it said that Aishwarya was quite hurt that she was replaced in the film by none other than her BFF Rani. That perhaps created a rift between the two actresses. Later, Rani signed the film. Shah Rukh had also apologised to AishWarya in an interview where he said he regretted what happened to her but it was not in his hand as he was not the only producer.
