An anonymous woman recently withdrew a high-profile lawsuit against him and Shawn Jay-Z Carter. The case alleged that the two hip-hop moguls had sexually assaulted the plaintiff at an afterparty following the 2000 MTV Music Video Awards. The woman, referred to in legal documents as Jane Doe, had accused the pair of raping her when she was just 13 years old. Meanwhile, Sean Diddy Combs, 55, remains in custody at a Brooklyn jail. He is awaiting trial on racketeering and sex trafficking charges, with proceedings scheduled to begin on May 5. In addition to the criminal trial, Combs is still facing multiple civil lawsuits brought by several accusers, both men and women, many of whom are also represented by Tony Buzbee’s firm. Throughout the various legal proceedings,. Combs has vehemently denied all accusations. His legal team, in a joint statement, said, “Sean Combs. has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone. We will continue to fight these baseless claims and hold those responsible.”
