Apple introduced the much-awaited call recording support into iPhones with the iOS 18.1. Previously, this function was only available on Android devices, as Apple had privacy concerns. Now, users can conveniently record conversations, interviews, or personal discussions for reference. This feature enhances convenience for users who need to document conversations while maintaining transparency. The automatic transcription further simplifies the process by providing a written record of discussions. While Apple ensures privacy measures are in place, users should still adhere to legal and ethical considerations when recording calls. The recording is automatically saved in the Notes app when the call ends or when you manually stop recording. Apple stores all recorded calls in the notes app, along with their transcriptions. To retrieve them, open the Call Recordings folder and select a recording to play the audio. View the transcript or summary of the conversation. Share the recording if needed. To access the transcript, go to the transcript section of the app and click the transcript button. To view the summary, click the summary section.
