Bangladeshi national who entered India illegally 10 yrs ago arrested in Rajasthan. The fresh arrest has taken the total number of apprehended Bangladeshis so far to 18. A special campaign has been launched in Ajmer to identify and deport illegal Bangladeshi citizens and other intruders. So far, the police have arrested 17 illegal Bangladehi nationals. Strict action will be taken against illegal Bangladeshis after their identification. The latest detainees include Mohammad Rana, Sapna, Salma, Yasin Khan, Shakoor Ali, and Iman Sheikh, all hailing from different districts of Bangladesh. Police officials have reiterated their commitment to continuing this campaign. The police are currently questioning the arrested individual and his interrogation is still ongoing. The suspect, identified as Mohammad Saroj a.k.a. Rippon (48), a resident of Dhaka, was subsequently arrested. He admitted that he had crossed the border illegally by crossing the border nearly a decade ago. Since then, he had been living in the Dargah area as a nomad.
