Brandon Holt clinches title over Japan’s Shintaro Mochizuki. Holt, son of Tennis Hall of Famer Tracy Austin, is the first American winner in Bengaluru Open history. Indian tennis icons Prajnesh Gunneswaran, Somdev Devvarman and Vishnu Vardhan watched from the commentary box. Holt received a cash award of USD 28,400 and 125 crucial ATP points for his effort. The 26-year-old pocketed USD 16,700 and 75 points for the win. The 2025 Bengaluruopen is India’’s biggest international tennis event. It is an ATP Challenger 125 tournament, holding the distinction of being the country’s biggest tennis tournament. The tournament is organised by the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA) It is the ninth edition of the tournament, which runs from March 2 to March 15. The prize money for the 2025 Bengalururu Open is $28,400. The draw for the tournament is open to the public, with the winner receiving a $10,000 cash prize.
