Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 19 development projects worth Rs 110.5 crore. The event at the Kashipur Municipal Corporation followed a grand roadshow. Key projects include road widening, divider construction, underground electrification, and street light installation. He also inaugurated a sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 18 megaliters per day (MLD) under the Amrit Yojana. The CM distributed house keys to Pradhan Mantri Awas YojANA beneficiaries and handed over Rs 1.9 crore to the mayor for housing scheme beneficiaries. He highlighted the state’s achievements in employment, reduced unemployment rates, and strict laws against rioting and religious conversions. He reiterated the govt’s focus on self-employment schemes like Lakhpati Didi yojana and the Solar Self-Employment Scheme, along with farmer welfare initiatives, including interest-free loans and increased MSP on crops.
