Comedy, comedy shows, and stand-up artists are under fire, following the ‘India’s Got Latent’ row. The said fire now has even reached Anubhav Singh Bassi, comedian and actor. Lucknow DGP received a letter from UP Women’s Commission vice-president Aparna Yadav. She urged the police officials to ensure that no \”undignified comments\” are made on women during Bassi’s recent show. Reportedly, the letter alleged Bassi of using obscene content and indecent language in his performance. Following the letter, the cops have denied a nod to Anurag Bassi’S show in Lucknow, that were scheduled on Saturday at the Indira Gandhi Pratisthan in Gomti Nagar at 3.30 pm and 7 pm. When the cops arrived at the venue, the comedian’s team was sent back by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) officials. It was a request by her to seek a review of the events held at the venues.
