Darasing Khurana is the first Asian and the second person in the world to hold the prestigious position of Commonwealth Year of Youth Champion. He was honoured with the Mahatma Gandhi Leadership Award in the UK, where he also had the privilege of delivering the keynote address at Cambridge University. Darasing made his Hindi film debut in Satish Kaushikâs Kaagaz 2 earlier this year, a poignant tribute to the bond they shared. \”I was very close to Satish ji and he always motivated me to work harder in life. Even when I was in doubt, he had the faith in me and my vision,\” Darasing reflects on his close relationship with the late SatishKaushik. \”It was his dream to see me make a difference on the global stage as he once told me that I will do something great one day globally,\” says Darasing of his close friend and mentor, Satish kaushik, who is no longer with us.
