Glenn Phillips takes a stunner to dismiss Shubman Gill. India vice-captain Gill departed for 31 off 50 balls in the ICC Champions Trophy final against New Zealand. Mitchell Santner provided his side a much needed breakthrough as Phillips produced a moment of brilliance in the field to get India 106 for 1 after 19 overs. Michael Bracewell took Virat Kohli’s wicket in the very next over. Kohli was trapped LBW by the Kiwi all-rounder. He took a review but it showed all three reds and Kohli had to walk back. The Indian fans were shocked and stunned in silence, struggling to understand what just happened in front of them. In the previous game in which India and New Zealand met, Phillips pulled off a breathtaking catch at point, leaving Kohli in disbelief. After completing the catch, Phillips rised up to his feet with a huge smile on his face.
