Jasprit Bumrah is not part of India’s squad for the ICC Champions Trophy. Mohammed Shami will lead India’s pace attack. Bangladesh will be without veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and out of form batter Litton Das. Former Bangladesh opener Imrul Kayes says Shakib’s absence will be felt by the team. Kayes played 39 Tests, 78 ODIs and 14 T20s for Bangladesh. The two teams open their Champions Trophy campaign on February 20. India go into the game as overwhelming favourites as Bangladesh enter the tournament at the back of a long struggling spell in the ODIs. The match will be played at the Ageas Bowl in Hampshire. The final will be held at Lord’s on March 4. The tournament runs until March 11. The winner will be crowned the Champions of the Champions Trophy on March 10. The draw will be made on March 7. The first match will take place at the Oval in London. The second match will takes place at The Oval on March 9. The third and fourth matches will be at Lord’s on March 11 and 13.
