The screenplay has been written by Joe Anders, the son of Kate Winslet and her ex-husband Sam Mendes, which adds a personal connection to the project. The Titanic actress, recently starred in the biographical film Lee, where she portrayed war correspondent and photographer Lee Miller. The film garnered critical acclaim, earning Winslet a Golden Globe nomination, while it also received a BAFTA nomination for Outstanding British Film.
