Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Sambhaji Maharaj, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale. The movie also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in important roles. It is a period drama directed by Laxman Utekar, which tells the stories of Chhatrapati Sambhaj Maharaj and his father, Chhatrapratibai Shivaji Shivaji. The Mumbai Dabbawala Association had also requested FadNavis to make the film tax- free in Maharashtra.
