Mohun Bagan Super Giant beat Kerala Blasters 3-0 in ISL. Jamie MacLaren scored twice with Alberto Rodriguez completing the scoreline. Defeat has hit Blasters’ playoff qualification hopes. They are eighth in the points table with 24 points from 20 matches and trail sixth-placed Mumbai City by seven points. Bagan, having already secured their playoff spot, strengthened their position at the summit with 49 points from 21 matches. The Kolkata giants are currently top of the ISL table with 51 points from 22 games. The Blasters are currently sixth in the table with 25 points from 16 matches. They have lost three of their last four matches in the Indian Super League (ISL), drawing one and winning one. The home side have lost their last three ISL matches in a row (W2 D2). The Blaster’s last ISL defeat came in a 2-1 defeat to Bagan in October 2013. The result was the first time Bagan have lost back-to-back ISL games in a single season.
