New Zealand trio Gaze, Jensen, James ruled out of Sri Lanka T20ls. Polly Inglis and Bree Illing will replace Gaze and Jensen for the T20I series. Central Hinds allrounder Flora Devonshire receives her maiden call up. T20i series kicks off on March 14 in Christchurch, followed by the second match at the same venue on March 16. The series then concludes in Dunedin with the final T 20I on March 18. New Zealand Cricket said in a statement that James and Jensen will require further rehabilitation before returning to play. The White Ferns head coach Ben Sawyer said the injuries were unfortunate and disappointing. He said Illing and InGLis had shown they are ready for T20L cricket and had shown great intent and execution in their ODI debut against Sri Lanka. The T20 series begins on March14 in ChristChurch, and ends on March 17 in Dunnededin, with the third match taking place on March 19. The fourth and final match is on March 20 at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
