Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, visited the Tiruttani Subramanya Swamy Temple in Tiruvallur district. He spent approximately 15 minutes engaged in worship. However, the temple administration halted general darshan for nearly an hour due to security arrangements. This delay did not sit well with several devotees, who felt that religious ceremonies should not be altered to accommodate VIP guests. Many argued that while dignitaries are welcome to visit places of worship, their presence should not disrupt the regular spiritual proceedings. The incident has since sparked widespread discussion, with devotees voicing their concerns over the prioritization of VIP visits over traditional temple customs. The visit is part of his ongoing spiritual tour across Tamil Nadu, where he is visiting all six sacred abodes of Lord Murugan. He is also the founder of the Jana Sena Party, actively advocating for the welfare of the people. The temple administration has apologised for any inconvenience caused by the postponement of the Panchamirtha Abhishekam.
