Police suspect Madoka Yamano might have died by suicide by jumping from the balcony. Officials handed over the body to her family after conducting an autopsy. Madoka — who was undergoing treatment for mental health issues — was found lying face down at the base of her tower at Park Place around 7am, oozing blood. Guards at the society informed police and her husband, Kohei Yamano. Police also recorded Kohei’s statement, and ruled out any foul play over his wife’s death. The couple had two children, who coordinated with the authorities to complete the formalities, police said. Police said no further investigation was required, given the family’s statements. The family arrived in Gurgaon in Sept last year, and Madoka’s husband worked as the vice-president of a Japanese bank in Delhi. The body was shifted to a morgue on Saturday, a spokesperson for Gurga on spokesperson said. The woman is survived by her husband and two children. The police said they informed the Japanese embassy before initiating an investigation.
