Pradeep Ranganathan’s much-anticipated Tamil film ‘Dragon’ has fallen prey to piracy within hours of its release. According to Pinkvilla reports, the film has been leaked online in HD quality by the notorious piracy site Tamil Rockers. The film also stars Anupama Parameswaran, George Maryan, Kayadu Lohar, and Gautham Vasudev Menon in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, piracy has been an issue in the Malayalam film industry as well. Recently the superhit films ‘Ponman’,. ‘Sookshmadarshini’, Tovino Thomas starrer ‘ARM’ and many more were leaked online. Also other language films such as ‘Game Changer”, ‘Pushpa 2’; ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ have also fallen victim to piracy online. The movie was remade in Bollywood as ‘Loveyapa’ starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Although ‘ loveyapa’ failed to create the magic of the original, the Bollywood film did well at the box office.
