Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that the Central government is committed to reduce the medical expenses for every Indian. PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh and is scheduled to arrive in the state capital Bhopal from Bageshwar Dham. He will spend the night at the Raj Bhavan making him the first Prime Minister in Madhya Uttar Pradesh to do so. On Monday, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the two- day Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopsal. The GIS will serve as an important platform for establishing Madhyahya Pradesh as a global investment hub. It will include departmental summits, and specialised sessions on Pharma and Medical Devices, Transport and Logistics, Industry, Skill Development, Tourism, and MSMEs, among others. The ‘One District-One Product’ (ODOP) Village will showcase the state’s unique craft and cultural heritage. Over 300 prominent industry leaders from over 60 countries, officials from various international organisations, and over 300 others will participate in the summit.
