The SGPC is a Sikh organisation based in AmritSar, Punjab, India. It was established in the 1970s to fight against discrimination against Sikhs in the Indian diaspora. It is run by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and the Sikh National Council (SNC). The SNC is a non-profit organisation that aims to promote Sikhism in India.
