Shanaya Kapoor is rumoured to be dating businessman Karan Kothari. The two reportedly met during their university days in Los Angeles. Karan comes from a prominent business family; his father owns a jewellery brand. Shanaya has previously modeled for this brand, indicating a close association between the families. Both shared similar underwater photos from a Maldives vacation on their Instagram accounts. The couple has not confirmed their relationship but have been spotted together at Bollywood events where Shanaya introduces Karan as her partner. She is set to make her Bollywood debut in Tu Yaa Main, which is expected to be released in December. The film is based on the novel by Vikramaditya Motwane. It is directed by Sanjay Kapoor and co-written by Ravi Agrawal, who also co-wrote the film’s teaser and is the son of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor.
