Sudhir Kashyap, 23, confessed to installing a spy camera in the couple’s bathroom and led the police to the hidden device. Police seized a camera, Wi-Fi router, dongle, mobile phone, two SIM cards, and two chargers from him. The woman received a disturbing video late at night on Feb 11. The footage showed her husband taking a shower. Shortly after, she received a second video of herself naked. Both videos were accompanied by a ransom demand, threatening to release the footage unless Rs 6 crore was paid. The family immediately contacted the police and provided details of potential suspects, who were arrested on the spot. The police seized several items from Kashyaps, including a camera and Wi- Fi router, and found inappropriate videos of his girlfriend on his mobile phone. He admitted he was fired six months ago, leaving him angry and resentful. He revealed that he sneaked into their bathroom, drilled a hole in the false ceiling, and installed the spy camera. He connected the device to the exhaust fan’s wiring for power and linked it to Wi-FI.
