Telangana people want to see KCR as CM again, says BRS’ KT Rama Rao. K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) celebrated 71st birthday celebrations on Monday. KCR was on a hunger strike for 11 days for statehood to Telangana. He braved all odds to carry forward the movement, said Harish Rao, nephew of the former chief minister. He said he cried when he saw KCR when the latter was on fast unto death forstatehood. The party leaders cut a huge cake weighing 71 kg to celebrate the party supremo’s birthday. The cake weighed 71 kg and was made by the BRS. Working President, K. T. Rama. Rao, said: “People want KCR to become the chief minister once again. Let us work hard to make him the Chief Minister once again,” he told the party leaders and workers at the party headquarters in Hyderabad. The BRS has been in power since the 1980s but has not been able to form a government since 2004.
