The Asiatic Society, Kolkata, is set to host an exhibition and a series of lectures on the life, teachings, and impact of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The event will take place from February 17 to February 21, 2025. The exhibition will be inaugurated on February 17 at 4:00 PM, followed by a welcome address by Lt Col Anant Sinha. The lecture series features distinguished academicians and cultural exponents, covering diverse aspects of the spiritual leader’s philosophy, leadership, and artistic influence. A dance performance by Paramita Banerjee, a Junior Fellow in Gaudiya Nritya, will be followed by the final lecture by Professor Nrisingha Prasad Bhaduri, who will provide insights into the spiritual perspective of the revered spiritual leader and social reformer. It is scheduled to take place in the Heritage Building of the Asiatics Society, which is a premier repository of ancient Vaishnavite scriptures.
