The Indian Railways has announced a major recruitment drive for 1,036 posts. Candidates must meet the following requirements to apply. Recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies across various departments, including teaching, legal, technical, and administrative roles. The posts include PGT Teacher, Junior Hindi Translator, Librarian, Scientific Assistant, Public Prosecutor, and more. The application window, which opened on 7 January 2025, was initially set to close on 6 February 2025, but was extended to accommodate more candidates. The minimum age is 18 years, while the maximum age ranges between 33 and 48 years, depending on the post. The age will be calculated as of 1 January 2025. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a three-year relaxation in the upper age limit has been provided for all posts. Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the 7th Pay Commission, commensurate with the post they are appointed to.
