The railway authorities have maintained consistent implementation of safety and crowd management measures across various stations. The systematic approach has proven beneficial in managing large gatherings, particularly during festivals and special occasions when passenger footfall increases significantly. At Prayagraj Junction, Railway Police Force (RPF) inspector Shiv Kumar confirmed that the situation regarding crowd management remains well-organised and under supervision. At Jhunsi and Rambagh stations, PRO of the Varanasi Division of North Eastern Railway, Ashok Kumar, confirmed the continuation of established protocols. The holding area system has emerged as a crucial component in maintaining order and ensuring efficient boarding procedures across all stations under supervision, said the PRO of North Central Railway, Shashikant Tripathi. The coordinated efforts between different railway divisions have ensured smooth functioning of services whilst prioritising passenger safety and convenience, according to the North Central Railways Chief PRO. The system includes utilising holding areas for passengers awaiting their trains, similar to the arrangement at Prayagraj Junction.
