Her husband, the renowned poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar, was also present at the event, adding to the star-studded atmosphere. Amidst this celebration, Azmi’s latest series, Dabba Cartel, continues to garner attention, albeit with mixed reviews. Nonetheless, her legacy as one of India’s finest actresses remains unmatched. She is known for her powerful performances in both Hindi and regional cinema, as well as her roles in films like Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo, and Jodhpur Ki Jodi. She has also starred in several regional films, including Dharwad, Durga, and Kannada.
