GMDA to strengthen water supply, boost drainage network, says CEO Misra. GMDA officers told to take possession of 49.93 acres of land from MCG for construction of sewage treatment plants being planned by GMDA in Gurugram’s Sector-107. The issue related to dumping of garbage into the drains along the National Highway was also raised. MCG officials were also instructed to carry our regular sanitation work in the various underpasses of the city. The meeting was attended by officials of the GMDA, Municipal Corporation of Gurugrams (MCG) and the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) The meeting also discussed issues which involved inter-departmental coordination and participation and was chaired by Shyamal Misra, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Gurugra Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) GMDA is the largest development authority in India, with a budget of more than Rs. 1.2 trillion ($28.5 trillion)
