He acknowledged America’s support as crucial for achieving these aims. Netanyahu emphasised Iran as the most crucial topic of Sunday’s discussions, alongside Rubio. He also agreed that the ayatollahs must not be allowed to have nuclear weapons. Netanyahu said that with Trump’s backing, \”we can finish the job\” in diminishing Iranian influence in the region. He added that Trump has presented a bold new plan that can work to enable a different future for the people of Gaza. Netanyahu reported discussing Trump’s \”bold vision for Gaza, for Gaza’s future, and how we can work together to ensure that future becomes a reality\” With Rubio, Netanyahu said: \”We’re in a position to change the Middle East and give Israel the kind of arising … that would have been unimaginable from the day of the founding of the State of Israel… We have the greatest friend of Israel in the White House now. We have to see eye to eye on the main task that we have to accomplish\”
