The lawyer also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers, particularly from AR Rahman, his team, and others. The couple, married since 1995, have three children together: Khatija, Raheema, and Ameen. They made headlines in November 2024, when they announced their separation after many years of marriage. It comes after significant emotional strain in their relationship. Despite their deep love for each other, the couple has found that the tensions and difficulties have created an insurmountable gap between them, one that neither party feels able to bridge at this time.
