Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has reported a net profit of ₹262 crore for the third quarter of the current fiscal year, marking its first profitable quarter since 2007. This significant turnaround is attributed to strategic initiatives such as aggressive network expansion, cost optimization, and a focused approach to innovation. The company witnessed a 15% increase in revenue from mobility services and an 18% rise in Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) revenue. BSNL’s Chairman and Managing Director, A. Robert J. Ravi, emphasized that this profit underscores the company’s resurgence and long-term sustainability.
