Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that courts in Madhya Pradesh will be made fully digitised to virtually function and enable online tracking of summons and warrants system within one year. Chief Minister said he would thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for introducing Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) and Bharatiy Nagrik Suraksha Sanhitas (BNSS) He said that the new regulations will permit the issuance, service and execution of legal documents via various electronic communication channels, ensuring a significant development in the state’s judicial functioning. The state government had organised a two-day Principal District and Sessions Judges Conference in Jabalpur, during which, an advanced digital initiative ‘Tvarit’ (Transmission of Warrants Summons, and Reports by Information Technology) was also inaugurated. The new system will come into effect in theState within oneyear. The Chief Minister added that a major portion of police and administrative manpower is being used for judicial purposes, but the system needs to be reformed with modern technology.
