Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra questions intriguing schedule for multiple franchises. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have been handed an intriguing IPL 2025 schedule. Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face RCB in the opening match at their home ground Eden Gardens on March 22. Rajasthan Royals (RR), Delhi Capitals (DC) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) will all start their campaign at home venues in Guwahati, Visakhapatnam and Delhi respectively. RCB recently appointed Rajat Patidar as their new captain while Shreyas lyer and Rishabh Pant were previously announced as new skippers of PBKS and LSG respectively. KKR and DC are yet to announce their new captains for the IPl 2025 season, while LSG and PBKS have not yet announced their captains for next year’s IPL. The IPL will take place between March 22 and May 17, 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium, New Delhi.
