Hamas says Egyptian and Qatari mediators are continuing efforts to finalise the implementation of the ceasefire agreement. Senior Hamas leader Abdul Rahman Shadid says Israel continues its \”criminal policies\” against Palestinians in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza. He accuses Israel of killings, displacement, mass arrests, blocking food and medical aid, and closing border crossings — worsening the humanitarian crisis in the Strip. Efforts continue to advance Gaza peace talks: Hamas. The Gaza Strip has been in a state of emergency since Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip in June 2007. It has been ruled by a Hamas-controlled government since 2007. The Palestinian Authority is currently in the midst of a power struggle with the Hamas-led government in Gaza. The Egyptian government has said that it is committed to a two-state solution to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
