India Masters beat Sri Lanka Masters in thrilling runfest for flying start to IML campaign. Sachin Tendulkar scores two boundaries before being dismissed by Isuru Udana. Yusuf Pathan smashes six sixes and three boundaries for his undefeated 56 off 22 balls to power India to the gigantic total. Kumar Sangakkara led Sri Lanka’s chase with a graceful yet power-packed 30-ball 51. Abhimanyu Mithun held his nerves to pick two wickets in exchange for five runs to script India’s victory. The match was the inaugural edition of the International Masters League 2025 (IML) opener with India Masters pipping Sri Lanka Master by four runs in a high-scoring thriller at the DY Patil Stadium here on Saturday. The first match of the IML will take place on February 23 and 24 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The second match will be held on February 25 and 26 at the same venue. The third and fourth matches will be played on February 27 and 28 at the Colombo Cricket Ground and the fourth and fifth at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
