Justice V Ramasubramanian emphasized the need to oppose division in all forms, not just religion. Launching ‘Unity India’, he called for embracing diverse traditions. He said in today’s world “money is God and there are no non-believers. It is because we don’t see the person who gives it. We are becoming more religious and not spiritual” He released the vision statement of ‘ Unity India’, which envisions an India in which all the communities embrace their diverse traditions as threads of the same vibrant fabric. ‘Unity India’ core committee member A Faizur Rahman said there is remarkable unity in society among Hindus and Muslims. Triple Talaq was against the Quran and was present only in Sharia law, he said. “I am a person who follows Sanatana Dharma because people practising Sanatana dharma do not see divisions among people. Hindutva, however, is a political ideology and it is different from Sanatana Dhara,” Prakash said.
