KPCC President K Sudhakaran MP said that Shashi Tharoor’s actions were not appropriate. He does not believe Tharoo will leave the party or join the CPM. Sudhakara said he always supported Tharoore and does not consider himself the right person to respond to his comments. The senior leaders also were not happy with the way Throor made comments against the party line. \”The Congress needs Thar Door and that was the reason why he was made MP four times and a central minister once,\” said Congress Working Committee member Ramesh Chennithala. Another senior leader, K Muraleedharan, said there is no leadership vacuum in the state as claimed by Tharoro. \”His services should be utilised at the national level and especially to woo the youngsters to the party,\” said Muraleeedharans. The KPCC President said he does not think he is efficient and that he should improve. The party has given enough recognition to him always, he added.
