Mammootty’s upcoming film ‘Kalamkaval,’ directed by debutant Jithin K Jose, has been officially announced along with its intense first-look poster. The poster features Mammootty in a gripping action moment, engaged in a scuffle while clenching a half-bitten cigarette between his teeth. The film’s title, Kalam Kaval, is prominently displayed in Malayalam with the tagline \”The Venom Beneath\” The film is expected to showcase Mammooty in a grey-shaded role, adding to the intrigue. Actor Vinayakan also plays a pivotal role in the movie. Gautham Vasudev Menon’s directorial debut received 3 stars from ETimes with a review that read, “The exciting climax makes up for any lethargy one may feel at any point in the film.” Darbuka Siva’s music is fresh and interesting. Vijay Yesudas sang a very peppy track in it with ThirumaLi joining him with Sathyaprakash and Pavithra Chari.
