Six injured as two groups clash in Maharashtra’s Akola, three held. Incident took place at around 3.30 pm when members of two groups pelted stones, vandalised the properties and set vehicles on fire. Police have so far arrested three persons and stepped up vigil in the area to maintain law and order. During the clash, a car was also set on fire and was burnt to ashes. There was heavy stone pelting and vandalism between both sides, which led to tension in the village. The condition of one of the injured is critical and is being treated at the Akola district hospital. The situation is under control and the police are still searching for the remaining people who are still at large. The police have also deployed heavy police force in Hatrun village, Akola to keep the situation under control. The search is ongoing and they are being identified and the situation is now under control, police said.
