Aman Gupta and Namita Thapar offered ₹1.5 crore for a 3.5% equity stake. The Str8bat team accepted this offer, securing the investment to further develop and market their product. In an exclusive conversation with Times Of India TV, Gagan Daga shared their vision with the brand, their experience in the tank and more. They want to see around 1 million players in cricket alone in the next 4 years. They will move to other sports, tennis and golf are the prime suspects we are going after. What we eventually want to be is a complete platform for all sports, says Daga. They are trying to expand geographically as we speak, as we have a patented tech which can capture motion without cameras. It gives us a very unfair advantage in capturing anymotion without cameras, they say. The process, the documentation request is gone and the due diligence is happening. So all of that is under process, hopefully we shall see them helping us grow the business.
