The third and final phase of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat General Elections 2025 will be held on Feb 23. Voting will take place from 7 am to 3 pm, while in Maoist affected Bastar division, polling will be conducted from 6 am to 2 pm. In the third phase of voting, more than 53 lakh voters will exercise their right to vote. A total of 26.37 lakh male voters, 26.91 lakh female voters, and 65 other voters are eligible to exercise their franchise in the elections. Those in the fray for thirdphase of polls include 30,990 panch members, 3,802 sarpanch members, 1,122 janpad panchayat members, 145 District panchaysat members. The results will be declared on Feb 25. In total, over 1.75 lakh positions across panch, sarpach, and janpad pansayat seats are being contested in this three-phase election. The elections are being conducted in three phases, and the election commission of Chhatt isgarh had earlier announced the election dates on Jan 20, 2025. The election commission has ensured that the election process is smooth and free of any irregularities, with voting to take place as planned on February 23.
