US President Donald Trump has said he wants to take over Greenland. Prime Minister Mute Egede says the US president is \”unpredictable\” Greenlanders are voting in legislative elections to determine their future. Trump said last week he was confident the US would get Greenland \”one way or the other\” \”We deserve to be treated with respect and I don’t think the American president has done that lately since he took office,\” Egedi said. \”The Americans and their leader must understand that,\” he added. \”I don’t want to be Americans, or Danes either,\” he wrote on his Facebook page. \”We want to have a say in our own future,\” he said on Monday. \”There is a world order that is faltering on many fronts — and a president of the United States who is very unpredictable — in such a way that makes people feel insecure,\” he told Danish public radio. \”It’s a very dangerous time to be in Greenland,\” he warned.
