Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Chhaava’ released in cinemas on Friday and became the biggest opener of 2025. The film is based on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj with Vicky getting into his shoes. On Sunday, the film had the biggest ever single-day collection in Maharashtra, beating the collection of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ on Day 4. The movie is expected to atleast make a double digit number on Monday as that will decide the film’s fate in the next coming days. It is not facing any major competition from any other releases at the moment. There is ‘Loveyapa’ and ‘Badass Ravi Kumar’ which have almost lost steam for now. Meanwhile, the movie has crossed ₹ 164.75 crore already as a worldwide gross. The total collection of the film so far is Rs 123.26 crore net in India. The early trends of Monday looked decent and it is expected that the film will remain steady and make a number in the double digit range.
