YouTuber Samay Raina has been asked to record his statement via video conferencing. The Cyber Cell has directed him to appear in person on February 18. The controversy erupted after a remark made by podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia during the show. He had asked a contestant, \”Would you rather watch your parents or join in once and stop it forever?\” The Supreme Court declined an urgent hearing, stating that the case had already been assigned a listing date. The case is expected to be heard on March 17, according to the CJI’s office. It is not clear if the case will be heard at the Supreme Court or the Bombay High Court, which has jurisdiction over the state of Maharashtra. The show’s organisers have also been accused of promoting obscenity and engaging in explicit discussions on the show, among other things. The makers of India’s Got Latent have denied the allegations. They have also said that they are cooperating with authorities and have deleted all videos of the show from their channel.
