2,700 members of the Royal Society have signed a letter of protest. The letter was sent to the president of the society, who is also the head of the U.S. Department of Energy. The Society is the oldest scientific society in the world, founded in 1660. It has been home to some of the world’s most famous scientists, including Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, and Albert Einstein’s son, Albert Jr. The society is set to meet on March 3 to discuss the matter of Elon Musk’s membership in the society.
