Born on April 13th, 1956, in Delhi, Kaushik began his career in the theatre industry before moving to Mumbai to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He made his debut in the film industry with the 1984 film “Masoom,” directed by Shekhar Kapur. Over the years, he became a familiar face in Indian cinema and was known for his versatility and ability to play a wide range of characters.
Some of Kaushik’s notable films include “Mr. India,” “Ram Lakhan,” “Karz,” “Saajan Chale Sasural,” and “Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai,” to name a few. He also ventured into direction and produced films such as “Tere Naam” and “Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain.” Additionally, Kaushik was also a well-known television personality, having hosted several popular shows over the years.
Apart from his work in the entertainment industry, Kaushik was also known for his philanthropic activities. He was actively involved in charitable organizations, particularly those that focused on providing education and healthcare to underprivileged children.
