Astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will return to Earth on March 16. The duo were stranded on the International Space Station for 10 months. NASA has cleared to launch on SpaceX’s Crew10 this week. Crew 9’s return will also be pushed back to March 17 or 18 due to construction delays, NASA said. The mission will be launched on March 12 from Kennedy Space Center, carrying astronauts Anne McClain, Nichole Ayers, Takuya Onishi, and Kirill Peskov. It is the second leg of the Crew-9 mission, which was launched with only two members — NASA’s astronaut Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov. The first leg was scheduled for February, but was postponed due to logistical adjustments. It will be flown on the Endurance capsule instead of the originally planned new Crew Dragon spacecraft. The second leg is scheduled for March 13 and March 14, with a two-day handover period on March 14 and 15.
